Boulder County's public trustee office shutting down with no plans for how to do the work.

I'm not sure how to blame this on the GOP, but what a ridiculous mess! Abject failure of the state to ensure funding for this vital office.

With no leader, no employees and no money, what will happen to Boulder County's public trustee?

and just wrote to the Commissioners. Last available stats for Colorado counties was 2015: Average annual income for top 1% $2 million; average annual income for 99% of Boulder County $77, 448.00. But we can't afford a public trustee office.
