Sunday the seasons first atmospheric river is set to come through a narrow band of intense moisture that brings intense, heavy rainfall, especially along the coast, Drew Peterson, an NWS, said.
While all regions of the Bay Area should see rainfall this weekend, areas on the coast, especially in the North Bay, can expect the most, up to several inches, he said.
