We're in phase one of the original Sun City, where the Social Security and Medicare dependents likely voted overwhelmingly for Trump. Neither of us joins political clubs, so we're alone in the wilderness, LOL. Not looking for meet-ups, just curious whether any of our "neighbors" are DUers too.

(17,522 posts)is certified Trump country, with residents the vast, vast majority of whom are eligible for Social Security and Medicare. Each year around open enrollment insurance brokers come to our community to host luncheons to help people navigate Medicare (in reality, probably to push Medicare Advantage).
I feel your pain, brother.

(23,704 posts)and I wonder the same thing. Luckily my mother in law is a liberal.
i was here in June and saw a lot of orange monster signs and flags. Only have seen one this time.
But there will be more buyers remorse when they start cutting social security payments for the muskrat to never pay taxes again. And the United Health care company takes over Medicare when it's privatized for more corporate profits.
