It really is hard to describe what the Badlands are like, but this pic does a good job of capturing the eeriness. ShazzieB 11 hrs ago #3

I'm really glad I got to see Badlands N.P. a few years ago. My only regret is that it was so hot that day I could hardly stand to get out of the car and leave the a/c. It was September, and the weather was just about perfect every day, except for THAT one. As a result, we mostly looked at the scenery from the road, getting out of the car here and there to take pictures. I would have loved to check out the hiking trails, but I do not tolerate heat well. It was still fascinating and fun, but I regret not being able to really explore.

I bet you didn't see any dogs wandering around................Trump knew he had to have her high up in his CABAL, after she had shown such cruelty and sadism towards a pet..........

I don't think Ms. Puppykiller was governor yet, lol. Google says she took office in 2019.

I have been there in hot and cold. First time was a memorial day weekend. Snow in the high elevations, lots of birds and bison on the loop.
