Our extended puppy dog family. Who we loved before Shadow.

Chewy (Chewbacca) was our first dog. With her is our grandson Michael, now 27.


One day I aimed the camera at Chewy and called her name. Here's what happened.


After Chewy we adopted Sandy, so-named for the color of her fur.


She was a joy to be around.


In her old age, Sandy met Shadow the puppy.


The girls on their shared front porch.

1. We named our dog SANDY, after Sandy Koufax,

after my return from trip to Europe at end of junior year of college. Sweet and smart Bedlington Terrier resembled a lamb.
