The geology of Waterpocket Fold is pretty cool. Many of the once horizontal sedimentary strata have tilted, so their western edges are higher than their eastern extent, so much of the land is tilted and distorted.

9. My favorite Badlands story. 2017, at a road through the park is/was a Prairie Dog village with the little buggers

Yes, Cute.

Also there, was a sign, (paraphrasing) Keep out, Bubonic plague is found among the Prairie Dogs.

And of course, walking in and among the residents of the Prairie Dog village, were wankers with their cameras and cell phones.


Similar to the Dillwads that have to walk up next to Buffalo to get the photo of themselves, petting a Buffalo.
