I enjoy photography and about one in 50 shots is a keeper. I appreciate your expertise and information and will attempt. And I truly cherish that picture. The Moon knows she’s so cute. Hanging around getting her picture taken about a million times a night.

I saw a very similar scene from my own kitchen window about half an hour ago. I was thrilled even to just see it, never mind photograph it!

And the city view below is phenomenal! The silhouettes are crisp and gorgeous.

I stepped out on the deck to have a look at the sky and went back in for the camera when I saw the gorgeous colors of the sunset and the conjunction of Venus and the Moon.

My photo was snapped with my android phone. The quality is not nearly as good as yours. Of course, the position of the moon and Venus are the same.

Congratulations on a beautiful photo!

Sunday was sunny, a bit breezy, and afternoon temps in the upper twenties. It was a nice afternoon to snap some pics along a hiking trail. I posted one of those pics on my website.

The lake effect snow blanketed Erie, PA. That type of an effect happens only around this time of year, and in late winter, when the water in the Great Lakes is relatively warm. Where I live is too far south from Lake Erie to catch lake effect snow. Our part of the state experiences milder winters than your part. I hope the winter season is mild for all of us. Take care, and keep snapping those great photos!

Last winter I was able to use my snowshoes for the first time in six years. We got about a foot of snow during one event, but it was the only substantial snowfall of the season.

You take care as well. Thanks!
