PBS had a recent doc about an american who managed to get bonzai lessons from THE master.

Looks like the label states the training began in 1975. Is that right? That would make it more than 50 years old.
Someone is taking extremely good care of it.

If I had a stable home, meaning I wasn't moving at some point every three to five years, I would have attempted to start a bonsai something. I think it's a fascinating thing.
