Related: About this forumRed admirals in the wild
A few weeks ago I posted a photo of a "domestic" red admiral on my lilac bush. These photos were taken today at Lancaster County Central Park.

I could never capture a butterfly. They are too quick. You must have a lot of patience!

I usually follow the butterflies with my eyes and they eventually light somewhere. Some of the birds I've been pursuing take tremendous patience. I've been trying to get a clear shot of chimney swifts for weeks. They constantly change direction and don't stop moving until they roost inside chimneys at night.

I was pleased the one in my garden last week kept still long enough for me to identify it. They move pretty fast! And they are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. I mean it!
