Two more photos I took at Dolly Sods Wilderness Area, WV, in 2012. I used a borrowed Olympus E-PL1 mirrorless camera with a 14-42mm 3.5-5.6 lens.

These are just wonderful. I must say that I prefer the first one, since the fog is more prominent. But the second one is also lovely.

I really think mirrorless is the way to go. Did that Olympus camera have an exposure compensation ring? Mine does and it allows all sorts of changes before you take the photo. And you can see through the lens which means you are able to more directly control the picture you get.

The camera was pretty basic and simple to use. No compensation ring or viewfinder, only a screen.

It's worth looking at. I remember Andy talking about these cameras. They were very popular and Olympus could hardly keep up with the demand, I think.

12. Interesting. They had an optional viewfinder.

The lack of a viewfinder was the only thing I didn't like.

The camera was my daughter's. I'll see if she still owns it. She's had a number of camera's since then, one of which she gave to me last year, the Canon Rebel T5i.
