Was Phil Everly's hair lighter than Don's, or did either of them dye their hair? (Original Post) raccoon Thursday OP
Maybe post some photos? PoindexterOglethorpe Thursday #1
I should've expressed that differently. If you look at photos of them when they were young, Phil's hair is lighter. raccoon Thursday #4

Of course, Paul McCartney is the writer of the song. It is said he wrote it specifically for the Everly Brothers to record and that he played guitar in the session. The song reached No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In the photo the brother on the right seems to have slightly darker hair.
