A question for my fellow M.I.J . Savants or fellow weirdos on Japan Lester's.

I received forwarded email from a seller via friend who knows i collect M.I.J . guitars this morning on a guitar called Joo-Dee.
Price $700 and for last hour I’ve been looking at info on them.

In that any one of these guitars made after 1981 and manufacturing was very short in what i am reading is definitely worth it as the luthier Hitashi who bought out Yamaki.
In looking online once again tons of information yet as usual I’m trying to separate myth from fact in what I’m finding.

So it seems pre 1981 they were made by Matsumoko or Dyna Gaki which is Burny Fernandez’s super grade quality yet in 81 they were purchased by Hitashi luthier’s and in reading on M.I.J. threads were hooked up with Yamaki Daion in production of decent acoustics.

Yet Hitashi was putting out these Joo-Dee Lester’s around early 1980’s stellar pieces Hide glue nitro finish long tenon real mother of pearl in lays.

In looking online at what i think are pre 81 headstock reads Joo-Dee truss rod says artist.
I’m trying to determine how to date this Japan Les Paul as no information is readily available.

Headstocks reads Joo-Dee Les Paul on truss rod it reads standard. If I go and look at it is serial number perhaps in neck pickup like super grades or if all original could I tell by the pots.

Thank you in advance if this is a Hitashi manufactured for very short time around 81 then it’s to good to pass up.

Or if it’s pre 81 then maybe probably same quality as some early Japan Lester’s like tokai or epiphone Japan.
