1. Wooden ships was written by Crosby, Stills, and Kantner.

Yeah, that Kantner; from Jefferson Airplane.

Weird isn't it. Two of the big name rock acts of the Woodstock Music Festival collaborated on that great song.
It was on the Jefferson Airplane "Volunteers" album.
Both albums were released in 1969.
I owned both albums; they're both filled with excellent music.

Just finished reading "My Mama, Cass" by Owen Elliot-Kugel. A very sincere, honest, and excellent read by the way - but I didn't know how instrumental Cass Elliot was in getting these three guys together. What a scene that whole time was!
