Context is everything. Early days of movies. Lots of physical comedy. And Buster Keaton was a genius.

I read that on Wikipedia recently. It was begun as a French company, maybe around 1900, then had a British division, and they have tons of films through about 1950. Don't quote me on all of that, I'm sure the dates are off and I'm wrong about a lot. But it really is a great part of history that they found the resources to preserve them for the modern age.
and yes i did find it funny, an escape from the day's drudgery. Is the world slowing down? Because traffic is flagging for me all over the internet.
