(23,613 posts)hours upon hours and hours of work. amazing. i like the glass on mirror effect... makes it shiney (for lack of a better word). and they are large.... and the fire places..... and the room..... and the kitchen back splash.... i love it. the the cafe sign too....

(I made 2 stepping stones from glass mosaic and I thought that was a lot of work..... lol)

(1,412 posts)My favorite is, Meeting the Aunts" fabulous mosaics, very original. I also do mixed media mosaics, maybe I can send you a pic to your e-mail address. Your website and photos are excellent. Love the detail shots.

(2,257 posts)I will send you the other three in the seies "Eyes and teeth" (after "Meeting the Aunts", comes, "Laughers", "Lovers while they loved me", and "the Pallbearers" all are meant to be suspended over head and lit from above.

(29,020 posts)I tried my hand at this a few years ago. Lots of shards!!! I used my tumbler to take the edge off the glass. A few hours in the tumbler and the glass was like beach glass. I cut myself less after that!
