original entryway was boarded over. I bet it had an elegant door once, but the need for more bookshelves must have taken precedence. There is another library like this nearby that I shall also sketch.
Editing to say I found a pic with the magnificent doors.mhopingdoors. Im hoping that boarding them over is just a winterizing thing.
