3. General Electric, first stereo TV in the world, hand-assembled production line in TN, 1984, or so I was told.

I still can't decide whether to recycle it, or hold as an icon of sorts. Might be worth something since everything's been recycled.

Flat, leaded-glass front, heavy tube, weight about 85 pounds, 20" diagonal I think. Faux woodgrain on metal sides, Faux woodgrain on flakeboard top and bottom. Speakers on the side, but they were a bit dull. Was supposed to be sold with 2 or 4 satellite speakers with similar woodgrain on chrome pedastals. Probably some pics online somewhere.

Few references online, one lists it as an RCA part number, but see the brochure, GE. They must have been cross-manufacturing for each other.

My mom had a console tv set I think it was a Panasonic, and it lasted for 23 years! And she had it on from morning to night!
