Happy happy birthday to you, and many more!!! 👏👏👏👏
Its so exciting to see the pretty colors and dream of what you will create!
Ive very recently discovered water mixable oil paints, which Im very excited about, as it precludes the need for solvents.
I really wanted to love oil painting, and I did some oil paintings, but no matter how careful I was or how I tried to ventilate, the solvent fumes (I tried several solvents) made me feel sick to my stomach and gave me a headache after an hour or so.
So I have this oil paint lying around, and discovered medium W made by Schmincke which really does work to make your oil paint water mixable when you combine 1/3 of that with 2/3 of the paint.
So I have been painting with oils this past week and using only soap and water to clean my brushes with!
I have decided not to use much water to dilute, and have gotten some water mixable mediums to use, instead.
I dont want to show my paintings yet because they are beyond dreadful, but I am having so much fun!
If you end up sensitive to solvents like I am, that medium W stuff does actually work like it says it does.
