Me and my mess. Our most important bags as a writer and artist. :) Watercolor, w/c pencils, gouache,

and ink in my Strathmore 500. I'm taking this set-up to Reid State Park after lunch. I wish I had an umbrella. Gonna be a scorcher!!

Been wanting to get outside and paint all summer, but something else always seems to take priority.

I just recently finished storing my stuff so I’m ready to go at a moment’s notice too. The problem is simply getting inspired to do some art! But I’m sure ready if that ever happens!

no pochade easel. The little one is trending toward urban sketching, but still pretty big compared to a mini altoid tin of 4 colors, a water brush, and teeny journal. I'll post my mini-ish kit in a bit.
