They're the social fair food. Never failed at Oktoberfest (in Germany) that a funnel of pommes frites

into a pink cloud. Now its elephant ears (you can never go wrong with fried dough), the giant mound of curly fries, and the marionberry sundae. 😁

didn't bring hands from around the globe grabbing a few.
I met so many people as they stole my fries. All in good fun.
Met people from Italy, England, Australia, etc...
The folks from Australia were the most fun.
