Enjoying a Bamboo tonight.

Dry sherry, dry vermouth, and a couple of dashes of orange bitters. The result?……dry……

The orange bitters give it, against expectations, a bit of sweetness.

Reminds me of a co worker of mine. Years ago he would do the martini lunch. On occasion, I would go with him. He would order a Desert Martini. Gin amd "just click the vermouth bottle on the side of the glass".

Some unimaginative chuzzlewit who likes his Martinis so dry, they’re not even Martinis. I enjoy a good Martini. But if someone would prefer to drink straight gin (or vodka), they should just say so.
