I don't blame you. It's quite disturbing how these people in 79 AD died Niagara 3 hrs ago #12

I got to give this career choice kudos because I don't think that I could do it.

Was this on Reddit?

I found it on Imgur (but it looks like it came from Reddit).

You're better suited as a helper of those in need, methinks. You couldn't have done much to help the individual in my OP.

I was thinking about these archaeologist who are the ones digging, examining and preserving this mass graveyard in Pompeii.

I keeping wondering how they keep their emotions in check while performing their duties. I suppose I'm a slight empath, I couldn't perform this type of career knowing the devastation. That's why I'm giving the archaeologist kudos.

meaning that you can't muster much empathy for MAGAts? That would be true of all of us around here.

They started the franchise well ahead of the modern-day series of movies. If any of them were still around, they should sue for copyright infringement!

I don't know what I was expecting but it was molds of one person after another in agony as they died. I was horrified but got out of there without causing a ruckus and insulting the exhibit by pretending to be viewing each display. I did not want to be disrespectful of the dead or anyone pondering them.

Then I learned yesterday that the general community of Pompeii were mostly slaves. That certainly didn't help my mind set either.
