Over 1500 men answered the ad...

Unfortunately, Snopes reports the ad was never really placed by the Atlanta Humane Society. But the image cycles around the internet, and they got calls from that for years.

(She was half Lab and half Tibetan Terrier. The hair is terrier, but she was all Lab. She couldn't stay out of a body of water. She loved everyone. She was 'The Queen of All Creation'. My sweet girl.)
