I have been struggling to finish this divorce from my abuser and get the settlement...meanwhile I am hitting paperwork roadblocks everywhere and I'm out of savings, tapped every credit card just to survive.

I literally just need like $150 or so to get to Sacramento and finish this stuff.

I haven't cried until today... the DMV says it will take another 10 days to process proof of insurance (they ONLY do it online) and my lawyer just slapped me witha bill ovwer $2000!!! (every time she had to be the go between with my ex it cost ME money!) I'm so broken down right now... I just want to give up... or drink...

I'm not completely out of the woods as I am still figuring out how to keep the lights on... but you all got me over the hurdle so I can get food and that is huge!

Had a rough time sleeping, but the dawn brings a new day and a reset. I am focusing on my Biz Plan and what I CAN do to improve my situation.

I filed the paperwork for the DMV, now all I can do is wait...in the meantime I am choosing to focs on the world in front of me, not the world that is on fire and chaos... and right HERE, it's really lovely and I am pushing forward...

I called the car place and the Dmv cleared the registration so hopefully we are a GO for selling it Saturday morning... Gonna get up at 6am to drive to Sacramento... don't know what the leftover 4th of July tourists will be on the road...
If im lucky, I can cash the check and buy the used car I've been watching... maybe they even dropped the price...
Than im just going to have to make a payment plan for the lawyer... she's charging me for every 5 min phone call, so she's gotta know I don't have $2600 extra. I already gave her a 5000 retainer and she blew through that. So yeah...
