Go figure;

(25,108 posts)He will stand at the door and meow until we walk him to his food bowl. He especially likes it if you pet him when he's eating.

(137 posts)makes me feed him his kidney medicine in a lickable treat on a spoon. He eats everything else from a bowl.

(110,096 posts)a strong gust of wind up her tush. She (Aussie/Border Collie) and her long raccoon-looking tail would start whipping around in frantic circles to try to make it stop. I always used to laugh at how she simply could not stand the wind "blowing up her skirt" while onlookers would laugh.

(23,776 posts)He removed the screen covering in the back yard, went under the house, push out the screen for the front yard and was hanging out in our fenced front yard.
We were out of town at the time. Our dog sitter came by to give him his walk and panicked when he wasn't in the back. She figured it out soon enough.

crud
(1,000 posts)so he can catch them like a goalie or chase them under the kitchen table. He will wait in position and if he bounces it back to me by mistake, he waits for me to slide it again.
He is also a great communicator and very fluent in body language. Leading us around the house, leg hugs when he wants us to open the door, I could go on...
My other cat will wait at the water bowl until we add some ice to the water, then she will drink.

(15,175 posts)refuses to drink water like a mere peasant. No bowls...even fountains he turns his nose up. NO, you must come to the bathroom sink as he screams and turn on the faucet at *just* the right trickle, so he may wash his dainty royal paws and drink water from the tap.
He's bougie AF
He's 13, and still the biggest BABY. I love him dearly, even though he's also an annoying loudmouth bitch...

(3,990 posts)that only drink ice water...(that is, water with ice cubes in it.)
Then there's my beloved former feral, 1/2 Bengal who buries her canned food
2-3 separate times per serving!
I have a cushioned window perch set up for her on my side of the bed...she watches over
me all night. If I sit up during the night she jumps to the bed to make sure I'm alright.
I'm a side sleeper, sometimes when I'm having trouble settling
she'll come and snuggle behind my thighs. Always puts me to sleep.
She's a dear friend.

She's a furry little tyrant but I love every hair on her body.

(24,143 posts)I will eventually get up and feed him, then he immediately leads me back to my bed, where he will snuggle up and sleep with me for another couple of hours.
The Blue Flower
(5,910 posts)I gave her that name because she was so good at quietly spiriting food off my plate when my back was turned. She has an odd habit of taking a mouthful of dry food in her mouth, dropping it on the floor a few feet away, then eating a piece at a time very daintily.
She and the dog next door, on the other side of a chain link fence, dug under the fence, each from her own side, and learned to pass a tennis ball back and forth under the fence.
