Ember never meows for food. Instead she snuggles up, gets all lovey when she wants her dish filled. Like most cats, she's a really good suck up. If f I'm late with a feeding and she's pissed off, things start dropping to the floor and I get a hostile glare.

The only time Ember meows is when she wants me to play with her. Interactive play is a really big deal to her.

So, I am the food lady and the playmate.
