back yard through all weather conditions, day and night. My friend finally convinced that neighbor to let her have the dog. The dog had a great life thereafter until it died years later....

Why do they have these beautiful dogs, and take poor, miserable care of them?
Why are they reluctant to give up the sad dog to a rescuer? Obviously they have shown or given little love toward the pup. Totally betraying the poor, innocent pup.
It breaks my heart. You have a wonderful friend.
