I don’t deserve her but she shrugs and continues to make my life grand

The occasional good picture I might take.

A Phillies World Series win would put me over the top.

Being able to provide groceries for the local food bank.

Helping an organization which helps local folks with medical bills

Walking two miles a day to keep on physically being able to do good things for others

Jimmy Buffett Music

Thoughts of 1968 to 1972

I didn't have the time or money. Also, I developed Rheumatoid Arthritis, which made the cold and skiing impossible to enjoy.

Now I live by the beach. I like it, but I miss the mountains and rivers too.

Particularly the only one of the three who doesn’t live on the other side of the globe. She’s two years old, and I could just eat her up.

Getting my 95-year-old dad to laugh, at the end of a long day.

My 8-pound pup, Poppy, who snuggles with me every night.

Knowing that I’m not the only one who is trying to avoid the overwhelming wash of doom by seeking out a debm55 thread.

I worry too much to be a happy person. But all of these people, and these serious interests bring me a lot of joy. Thank goodness!

From the movie The Getaway... Slim Pickens to Steve McQueen: "Ya know, if I's you kids what I'd do? I'd quit this runnin' around the country. Ya know, git a little bit a money together 'n, hell, buy a place 'n settle down 'n raise a family. I've been married for 35 years, same old gal; man she's a tough ol' hide. God dang, everything I am, I owe ta her."
This is year 43 for me.

Glorious sky, sparkling ocean, green in every shade possible wrapping the vista with trees and plants, and birds singing. It wows me every time.
I also experience joy when I receive unexpected smiles. They stay with me long past the moment of the gift.
As a mother, watching my child accomplish something or make a discovery always brought joy.
