I was so devastated after the election - didn't think I could feel much worse but then a few weeks later, my beloved Dad passed away. I am putting on a good front for my friends & family so they don't worry about me, but I am not yet okay. Soon, I hope.

My life is horribly lonely.

There isn't much to do where I live but go to bars/pubs or the local Indian casinos.

I need to get the house is order. Things are a mess around here.

Lots of work to be done!

There are so many deer that they are starving or eating plants that deer normally won't eat. I've seen as many as 10-15 deer wandering through the neighborhood at a time. Hundreds of them in the area, if not thousands. They have no natural predators.

2024 was a horrible year for us. We lost a beloved family member to cancer, she was 57. I lost my best friend from college.

My husband has been put through so much nonsense at work.

Then the orange leech gets elected.

2025 has to be better.

“Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and redeem the soul of America.” John Lewis made this statement on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama on March 1, 2020 commemorating the tragic events of Bloody Sunday. Bloody Sunday occurred on March 7, 1965 as peaceful protesters were beaten by law enforcement officers for crossing the bridge. Lewis and others like Amelia Boynton Robinson were beaten so badly they were hospitalized
