Google Play Has Pissed Me Off

My sister knows playing games on the internet helps as a distraction for me obsessing 24 hours a day about things I get depressed and anxious about. Both are chronic conditions which can't be cured only managed, and a few times my management skills have bombed big time.

So she bought me $100 gift card for Google Pay from Amazon for Christmas. Only problem is Google while it recognizes the number and asks me if I want to credit the 100 dollars to my account, won't actually apply it. I contacted their customer service. I provided the documentation several times that it is legitimate and at one point their customer service acknowledged it is a redeemable card, and they will rectify after reviewing the information which by the way, I have now sent them 4 times. Well today I get an email message that says the same thing about maybe it's not valid or I am signed into the wrong account. I am not.

I finally called Amazon. They said they tried to redeem it for me but were being told there was a technical error. They said since my sister purchased it have her call them ask for a actual person, explain the situation, and they will issue a refund to her credit card.

I will never buy another gift card from Google Play. They suck in my opinion. Hopefully Amazon makes it right as their representative said they would. I told them they should tell Google if they won't honor their gift cards Amazon shouldn't sell them anymore. Doubt they will listen.

6. I don't think you have to get a play pass from Google.

The individual games usually have an option that allows you to play ad free for a fee within the individual game. I have never got one, but I think it's short term and expires after a few days. The fee is processed for them by Google though.

😀. I remember watching Oprah years ago where she did an episode of her show on technology. She talked to two married medical doctors in her audience, who told her they couldn't start their new dishwasher. Their 5 year old son went up to it pushed a few buttons and it worked fine. That made me laugh so hard I never forgot it.
