Just filled out my passport application!

I'm so excited! I don't need it....yet....but we are going to the US Virgin Islands in March, and frankly, it's easier than jumping all the hoops to get a "Real ID" driver's license here. I know that because I tried it last time I had to renew mine. So off to get my horrible photo taken and then...the possibilities are endless! We could yet become expats. We'll see.......

Available, you never know when you'll need them.

Funny thing about the awful photo, I got my passport renewed a couple years ago and the awful picture looked the same as the old one, both horrible.

because I only had 2 visa pages left. The passport didn't expired until Aug. 2029. So, I checked the box for the 'large' book with like 52 pages. When it arrived, 3 weeks later, it was the standard book. I filed a complaint and they called me, admitted it was their mistake, and told me fill out a special form, take a new photo, and return the passport they had just sent. They would replace at no additional cost (except photo and registered mail).
I decided to keep the smaller one. I may not be traveling as much as I get older. And I'm leaving the country on Jan. 7th.

From start to finish (including getting an updated birth certificate) it only took three weeks.

Joe has the passport service running like a well oiled machine
