12oz coffee mug:

1 oz. Irish Whiskey. (I actually know some Jamesons, so I usually use that.)
1 oz. Irish Creme. (I use Carolan's. Bailey's is too chalky tasting for me.)
1 oz. Creme de Cacao

Fill the rest with coffee. (I have to have decaf these days. Oh well. Better choice in the evening anyway.) Whipped cream if desirable. Same with chocolate sprinkles.

Enjoy! And, careful! They can sneak up on you.

Dec 2024

(i'm not a wine drinker)
here's what i found

"Grown on sunny slopes and harvested at the peak of ripeness, Syrah and Grenache grapes give the wine its deep ruby colour. Extraordinary care during extraction accounts for its unctuous quality and rich mix of sun-baked black fruits. Astute élevage (aging, fining, filtering, and blending) yields a round wine with soft ripe tannins and long finishes. Grape varieties: Grenache Noir and Syrah

but a bleeding ulcer (surprise!) had me cut back drastically on the coke. now i don't really drink it at all.

truth be told: i did pour a 1 liter bottle of regular coke down the kitchen sink tonight when it started backing up for a couple seconds so i wouldn't have to use the draino. (neighbors upstairs dumping too much crap down the drain again and i'm on the first floor which gets the back-up. lucky me -- but at least i don't have to climb the stairs)

the AI overview said:

""Plonk" is a term for low-quality, inexpensive wine, often used in a derogatory way. It's primarily used in Commonwealth English, particularly in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
The term may have originated from the French word blanc, meaning "white". However, it can refer to any cheap wine, including red or rosé. The term may also be onomatopoeic, referring to the sound a cheap bottle of wine makes when it's put down on a wooden table.

so i'm guessing you're not in nebraska or chicago
lol

from google:

People also ask
What is coquito made of?
Coquito is a Puerto Rican beverage made with vanilla, coconut milk, coconut cream, rum and spices that is traditionally served during the December holidays. Coquito means "little coconut" in Spanish, and coconut provides the majority of the drink's flavor and texture.

that sounds fantastic! i'm putting it on my shopping list!

1 can (13-16 oz) Coco Lopez or other cream of coconut. NOT coconut milk.
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
¼ tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 to 1 ½ cup rum – I split the difference at 1 ¼ cup. Actually, I use the 1 cup Pyrex measure and fill it to the bottom of the ‘P’ in Pyrex, which is about 1 ¼ cup. It’s plenty strong. White rum is the most common, but I only had dark rum this year and it's great!

Open all the cans, measure everything else – and mix. Period. A processor or blender is really required to get all out the lumps and my processor is too small for everything without overflowing; I just blend the canned stuff and stir it into the rum in the final container.

Best stored (in the refrigerator) in a container or containers with a tight cover. It may need to be shaken or whisked if it’s sat for a while; the fat tends to float to the top and solidify in a thin layer.
