Neel is the hero Star Wars needs

A few spoilers for Skeleton Crew but not too much, mostly character descriptions and backstories.

This was not what I thought it would be. It’s surprisingly profound and touching social commentary, and discussion of how childhood trauma can make us hard and unkind, and how social media feeds into that. How society is doing something right when the kind folks, and odd folks, the super smart and in their own little world folks, the ones who are seen as “weak” in a harsh society, are free to survive and thrive.

What he says definitely applies to our current state.
Will we be a society that continues to value kindness and to value each unique individual, or are we going backwards? I don’t like the answer my head is telling me.
