Going to bed early and getting up at the same time you usually do?
Or going to bed the same time and sleeping in?
For myself, I thinking sleeping in makes me feel more rested.

I do like sleeping in on overcast days too.

(6,954 posts)Even though I've been retired for 5 yrs, I set my alarm for 4am. Now I *do* spend a couple of hours waking up playing with my watercolors or surfing the web for images to copy before I get out of bed.

(24,389 posts)I almost never go to sleep early and have not been able to nap since I was a small child. A 30 min. sleep-in is wonderful for me!
I have sleeping issues and smoke pot to relax me enough and to make me sleepy enough to actually go to sleep.
