US military building 'massive complex' beneath White House ballroom project: Trump

(AFP) President Donald Trump said Sunday the US military was planning to construct a large complex beneath the new ballroom he is building at the White House.

"The military is building a massive complex under the ballroom, and that's under construction, and we're doing very well, so we're ahead of schedule," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.

"It's part of it, the ballroom essentially becomes a shed for what's being built under," Trump said, without elaborating on the unprecedented arrangement.

He said information about the plan had come out recently "because of a stupid lawsuit."

I remember seeing a video tour of parts of it a few years ago...they can take a subway train under there all the way to an alternate Congress meeting place and living quarters in Virginia...

5. The Bunker Was The Whole Point

I have been thinking for weeks that the felons ballroom is not really whats going on there. Its the size of the bunker beneath it.

I believe this ill be a bomb proof bunker, atomic bomb proof and that this low life scumbag traitor to our country plans to hide out while launching nuclear bombs at countries he does not like.

I am sure he thinks using nukes would be easy just like Venezuela.

If the bunker were completed I would be even more concerned about a nuclear strike against Iran.

I think this fool plans on blowing up the world.

Why wouldn't he? He is bat-shit crazy and will have a nice bunker that he can hide out it.

8. I don't have a problem with a bunker on the White House grounds.

I do have a problem with:

a) it's being built under the ballroom so it will be an easy target in future conflicts, which enemies will know about because
b) Trump can't shut up about leaking national security info. And probably because of
c) it will be needlessly gigantic and lush, appointed with gold and fancy marble tiles at taxpayer expense.
