1. Why was Trump so upset that Epstein "stole" an inexperienced, low wage Mar-a-Lago Club "spa attendant" from him?

Why would an easily-replaced young girl, someone who Trump claims he hardly knew, whose only job was handing out towels and cleaning up after spa guests, be so important to Trump? It's not like Epstein poached a valued, highly-trained, irreplaceable employee Trump couldn't do without.

The only reason Trump would be angry enough to end a relationship with his "best friend" is if that young worker meant a lot more to him than he's admitting. An underage female sex worker would be a very valuable commodity at Trump's sleazy "spa." Or maybe it was a more personal matter for Trump?

2. Trump didn't give a damn about Epstein hiring some of his staff.

If he cared that much about it, he wouldn't have waited 25 years to mention it (he never used that excuse before today). Also note when he invented this excuse, he didn't mention Virginia Giuffre. He didn't mention any names then a reporter asked a question and specifically mentioned her name. His response:

“Uh, I don’t know,” Trump initially responded, before quickly adding, “I think she worked at the spa. I think so. I think that was one of the people. He stole her. And by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever.”

His immediate response was "Uh, I don't know"? I would bet he had no idea who she was. The last sentence is the "tell". "She had no complaints abut us" - she has been mentioned all over the media lately as a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago who Epstein hired away, and in her public statements about Epstein and others, she has said she observed no wrongdoing from Trump. Trump clearly read or heard about that and realized he could use it to deflect accusations against him. But she obviously had one complaint or "issue" with Mar-a-Lago - they weren't paying here nearly as much as Maxwell offered to work for Epstein.
