John Pavlovitz: Forget Anti-Christian Bias. The Trump Administration Has Anti-Jesus Bias
John Pavlovitz - Forget Anti-Christian Bias. The Trump Administration Has Anti-Jesus Bias
John Pavlovitz
Apr 13, 2025

As Christianitys Holy Week begins marking the final week of Jesus life as presented in the Bible, the State Department under Marco Rubio recently instructed all of its employees to report coworkers for anti-Christian bias.
The directive supports an Executive Order signed by Donald Trump in February, proposing to root out Federal employees who oppose Christianityand it is irony of Biblical proportions.
There is no anti-Christian bias in American Government. There is anti-Jesus bias in MAGA Christianity.
The truth is, the Jesus of the Gospels wouldn't have stood a chance under this Administration.
When he told MAGA Americans to love their neighbor as themselves, they would have screamed at him to go back where he came from and spit anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic epithets from behind anonymous Nazi avatars, raising defiant middle fingers in his face.

The entire Trump administration is antichrist. Anyone who supports that has to deny the core principles of the Christian gospel.
There is no way someone with genuine Christian convictions would stand for individuals, regardless of their nationality or their tatoos or their past, being sent off without a trial to a torture prison in another country where their lives would be in danger. No one who holds honest, true Christian convictions would be in favor of that. Nor would they be opposed to the government's use of resources to provide medical care to people who don't have the means to afford insurance or care. They would not put up with the lies being told to justify cuts in programs that are government responsibilities and which help people. They would not support aggressive language about taking over someone else's country. They would not be opposed to Ukrainian peace on Ukrainian terms. There is no way to justify any of that as being remotely Christian. It is a reflection of what the Apostle John defined as "the Spirit of antiChrist."

(2,425 posts)4. So tell me, as a Christian, John Pavlotitz
must believe that non-Christians will spend eternity roasting in Hell.
As an atheist, I say Fuck John Pavlovitz for condemning me and 47% of Democratic voters to burning in Hell because we don't accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Or are you projecting based on your anti-Christian bias?
