This Good News That's Bad For Trump Starts The Week Off Right
Even though we’re just beginning another week of the Trump and Musk horror show, I’m happy to deliver more good news today. I hope this gives you some relief, and shows you there are great people united with us in our fight against tyranny.
Under heavy storm clouds, thousands marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama yesterday, to mark the 60th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday.”
Fmr. President Barack Obama released this statement about the day: “60 years ago, a group of brave civil rights organizers marched ... in the pursuit of justice and equality. Today we’re reminded of their courageous sacrifices, and tasked with the responsibility of doing what we can to carry forward their work.”
Right before the march, Dem Sen. Raphael Warnock spoke to the congregation at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Selma, saying: “While they’ve got you looking over there, they’re taking your money … They say they’re looking for waste, fraud, and abuse—and they’ve got an unelected billionaire posing as co-president … it’s a high class sham.”
