Time for parts of U.S.A. to join Canada?

Lloyd Brown-John

I am becoming a tad peeved with Washington’s presidential loose cannon and his plans to annex Canada, take over Greenland, coerce Panama, steal Gaza and rename the Gulf of Mexico.

So I have a counterproposal to free America ...

... let’s begin by giving Maine and Massachusetts back to the original Acadia, now Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Both provinces would extend south and include some of those other tiny states like Rhode Island and Delaware.

Vermont and New Hampshire along with a good portion of upper New York state would be added to Quebec, with French language requirements encouraged. Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin can be added to Ontario. Kentucky can be added if there is enough demand for bourbon ...

Sovereignty is not a game of monopoly. Fortunately.

To go onto Reddit Canada to see the absolute hatred for Trump, Musk and red America.

Canada is 100% unified. They were a little fractured prior to Trump and his comments of these past few weeks, which have caused a Canadian patriotism groundswell. They are flying their Maple Leaf flag en masse. They are boycotting American products, making deals with other trading partners, canceling any and all trips to the US including vacation travel and shopping across the border. Many have posted of their actions. Some have taken travel cancellation penalties and wear the financial loss as a badge of honor and patriotism.

They are buying Canadian spirits and are definitely not interested in Kentucky bourbon or any other American product.

They are rightfully angry and I respect their view and independence.

Oh Canada!

until we get the adults back in charge in this country. (I'm still going to get my single malts from Scotland, because, come on, I'm not an idiot.)

One exception: my bourbon, of which I buy from a Washington State distillery in Woodinville. Never buying from Kentucky or Tennessee if I can possibly help it.

7. I'm with you. The west coast states too, maybe include NV.

All the Great Lakes states and east coast ones...Mass, Conn, NH, Vemont and Penn.

All those states contribute way more to the federal budget than they get back. I say let the red, beggar states fend for their maga selves under idiot presidents like TSF.

9. California too please

I think California, Oregon and Washington would make a great addition to Canada. As a Californian I am already flying a Canadian flag in hopes that we may join a stable and civilized country that is not full of magats and racists and gun owners.

I live in Oregon, five minutes away from Washington. The single largest concentration of authentic Asian food is in Richmond BC, which is about 300 miles away. The drive is no further than when I used to live in LA and went to Vegas.
