Not Funny: Trump's Threats to Greenland Would End NATO

Almost three decades ago, the United States joined seven other countries with territory surrounding the North Pole in a new alliance — the Arctic Council — pledging to make mankind’s northernmost communities a zone of peace.

Now, U.S. President Donald Trump is threatening those Arctic allies with economic sabotage or military action in a strongarm attempt to seize Greenland and plunder its rich deposits of oil, gas, precious metals and rare-earth elements.

In a menacing ultimatum more befitting a mafioso than a newly empowered world leader, Trump has declared that Greenland will become an American property one way or another, claiming the resource-rich island is “an absolute necessity” for U.S. national security.

“I think we’re going to have it,” he boasted to journalists covering his visits to disaster zones in North Carolina and California last week. That was his wishful-thinking takeaway from phone calls with Danish officials who’d told him in no uncertain terms that Greenland is not for sale.

4. Has Trump ever actually double-crossed Putin?

I thought Putin had kompromat on Trump. It must be something incredibly filthy and disgusting, because I can't think of anything filthy and disgusting that Trump hasn't done already, and would certainly have sunk any other politician in the world.

Anyway, if Trump ever really tried to double-cross Putin, he would have taken a dive out of a fourth-floor window by now.

5. It looks like Trump is trying to negotiate with or double cross Putin on Ukraine.

The deal was Trump would hand over Ukraine to Putin when Putin installed Trump into the WH.

Now Trump is saying he wants the rare earth minerals in Ukraine.
And we know Putin's media has been making nasty and embarrassing comments about
Trump and Melania.

Now we see Trump negotiating with both Zelenskyy and Putin over Ukraine's resources.
Putin is pissed off about it.

We also see Trump double crossing China a bit with the tariffs.

The blackmail Putin has is not about sex, no one cares about that.
More likely about all the classified material Trump handed over to Putin.
Including a list of US CIA assets in Russia.

6. I can see this scenario representing the Greenland Grab:

I want to buy your house.

No thank you, we like it here.

I really want to buy your house.

I said no thank you.

You must sell me your house.

It's not for sale.

You don't have a choice. Sell me your house!

My moving van is parked outside and my stuff has to go into the house.

No.

I'll call the cops if you don't leave.

Go ahead.

If the cops and/or the sheriff evict you, you won't get a penny and I'll throw all your stuff out of the curb.

You can't do that. I have the Deed and you don't.
