Op-ed: This is why it's okay to be angry at anyone who voted for Trump
Opinion: They were warned about Project 2025, autocracy, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and were suffering the consequences because of their ignorance, John Casey writes. (Casey is the senior editor for The Advocate)
Im laughing about how obtuse Trump voters were about him lowering prices while telling them about increasing tariffs. Practically every economist in the world warned that prices would rise if Trump imposed new tariffs. Mark Cuban told me the same thing when I talked to him before the election.
But no, Trump voters would prefer to believe a reality star who lies, lies lies, versus someone like Cuban who oozes common sense. Trump just instituted new and shameful tariffs on our neighbors Canada and Mexico, and our adversary China. Wait till Trump voters see what happens to their grocery bill. Stupid is as stupid does.
The anger has been prevalent on my social platforms, from friends and followers who are up in arms about the horror Trump is creating. And, on the flip side, the abject incomprehension of others who are trying to explain away his behavior. A first-cousin who shared a post from a random account that said Trump renaming the Gulf of Mexico, and trying to take Greenland and Canada were based on international laws, not his egomania. Seriously?
Casey sums it up beautifully when he says, "Trump voters bark about woke but ignore the fact that if woke went away, racism would take its place."

He was gobsmacked and unable to respond , was truly shocked they had the guts to speak out at him
Got this info from my brother when we were on the phone , we both were laughing so hard we could barely speak
From the mouths of babes

are going to experience something called consequences.
It is a major failure of civilization that the mobster president has never experienced any real consequences. Or, if he has, he was too mentally dysfunctional to learn from them.
