Now that you passed the baton, and with all due anticpation of your unsteady replacement, it is worth recalling all you have done for Israel during your term in office:

First and foremost, your tireless efforts to free the Israeli hostages. It has been an uphill struggle, partly because of the heavy price that Hamas demands in exchange for their release, mostly because the beleaguered Israeli prime minister has done everything to put off their release, which would ultimately spell the demise of his extremist nationalist government. Indeed, one contentious minister has already resigned over the phased hostage deal that is now in place. If your plan is carried out, all the hostages will return home and your sneering successor will claim bragging rights. In truth, just before the end of your watch three young Israeli women were freed from the terror tunnels and brought back to their families, in no small part thanks to you, Mr. Biden.

As an American ex-pat living in Israel, I am proud of the way you handled your announcement to the press on the eve of the hostage deal. With composure, you stated clearly that your team of negotiators is working closely with your successor’s team, “because that’s what American presidents do.” It is no secret that you and Donald Trump harbor feelings of deep mutual disrespect. In 2020, Trump didn’t exactly welcome you to the Oval Office after he falsely accused you of stealing the elections. Thank you, Mr. Biden, for setting aside your enmity with Trump, staying focused on the release of the Israeli hostages and restoring to America the smooth transition of power. With the second coming of Trump, it may be the last time we ever see it.

You are asking when Israel, not the government of Israel, is going to be true friend to the USA. Right after you referred to Israel, you asked how much money "you" have taken from "us" (a rather peculiar formulation coming from someone wishing peace and justice to all humans), and how long "you" have played with Russia and Iran, and how "you" refused arms to Ukraine. The "you" that you are referring to includes many Jewish people and Israelis (Jewish and non-Jewish) who marched against Netanyahu. And it sure isn't Netanyahu or IDF whom you are blaming for not seizing control of "your" country from Netanyahu, a ridiculous question that shows abject ignorance of Israel's democratic parliamentary political system.

And you are definitely accusing Israel, by name, for now being a war criminal, ignorantly referring to a court that made no such determination, and couldn't possibly do so without violating its charter.

All are old and tired anti-Israel memes being gratuitously regurgitated all over social media, and with that in mind, your offer of an identical response to three different posts in a single thread is duly noted. Also duly noted is that none of the included standardized outrage has anything to do with the OP. And hell yeah, you knew you would get jumped on - your purpose was to provoke exactly the response you knew would be coming.

And now, after the provocation has been triggered, you are backtracking.

Your alleged compassion for the people of Israel leaves a lot to be desired. And since you didn't bother to accuse the Palestinian people of not seizing control of "their" country from Hamas, I can't really comment on your compassion for them.

5. Israel is a democracy. We elelcted Trump and the Israelis elected Netanyahu

Gaza last time had elections in 2006 and the West Bank in 2013.

As long as this country has interest in the Middle East, Israel is the eyes and ears there. Both Iran and Russia influence there have weakened thanks to recent Israeli operations.

And this country gained a lot of information from the way the Israeli and Iranian weapons have performed in the last months.

Last, there was a ceasefire before October 7th. Many Gazans worked in Israel and there was a free flow of money and supplies from Qatar.
