Natomas Unified teachers prepare to strike as Twin Rivers educators continue their own

SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
The Natomas Unified School District is preparing for potential disruptions affecting 16,000 students, as negotiations with the Natomas Teachers Association continue ahead of a possible teacher strike on Tuesday.

Superintendent Robyn Castillo advised parents to "plan with flexibility," noting that the disruption could last one day or several days.

Castillo emphasized that the district has laid out a plan to ensure sustainability.

"We know that school will look a little bit different," Castillo said. "But we do have, we are ensuring supervision of our students that there are meals. We have planned curriculum for students to do throughout the day."
