"President Donald Trump�s special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, said Monday on Fox News that Iranian negotiators bragged to him that Iran had enough enriched uranium to make nearly a dozen nuclear bombs."

"The account fits a key piece of the administration�s evolving rationale for joining with Israel to preemptively strike Iran: Trump himself has said he believes the Iranian regime was close to having nuclear weapons, as well as missiles capable of carrying them to the United States."

� 'In that first meeting, both the Iranian negotiators said to us directly, with no shame, that they controlled 460 kilograms of 60%,' Witkoff said in the Fox interview, referring to the uranium�s level of enrichment. 'And they�re aware that that could make 11 nuclear bombs, and that was the beginning of their negotiating stance.' "

"However, a Persian Gulf diplomat with direct knowledge of the talks told MS NOW that Witkoff�s description of the conversation was false."

3. In all the blame and bluster it is interesting Trump has not brought up actually going in to get enriched products

If stopping Iran from having nuke capability, getting the enriched uranium is more key than knocking out the centrifuges, long range missiles and the rest. They probably have enough amply enriched to do a lot of terrorism if not hit a precise target. Unlike delivering a nuke as we might by precision bomb or missile, a dirty bomb could be delivered in something like a large diesel engine casing in a bunch of goods in any old shipping container. Yes, it would need to be well shielded with lead so the very sensitive radiation detectors many countries have at border crossings and port off load facilities didn't detect it. Of course if you put it on a cargo ship that will be pulling into port at NYC, Haifa or wherever and blow it before it ever gets off loaded and assuming your goal is just shear indiscriminate terrorism, you could accomplish your mission. If you want to play the war game Dozing Donnie, please do so in chess not checkers mode. Maybe Delta Force or IDF Sayeret Matkal are already keyed up just need to get the location info. Hard to believe Israel is not well aware of the threat.
