Ford Worker Suspended for Calling Trump a 'Pedophile Protector' Says He Has 'No Regrets Whatsoever'

Source: Newsbreak

The auto worker who called President Donald Trump a “pedophile protector” during Trump’s visit to a Detroit Ford plant on Tuesday has been suspended from his position pending an investigation.

Following the incident on Tuesday, which saw 40-year-old TJ Sabula shout “Pedophile protector!” at Trump, before the president responded with a middle finger and a “f*ck you” the auto worker was reportedly suspended from his position.“
As far as calling him out, definitely no regrets whatsoever,” Sabula told the Washington Post.

Despite having no regrets about his choice of words for the president, Sabula did express concern over his future at the plant, claiming he had been “targeted for political retribution” for “embarrassing Trump in front of his friends.”

Sabula identified himself to the newspaper as a political independent and said that while he had never voted for the president, he had supported other Republican candidates.

I don't blame the line workers of course. It's the cheap ass engineering and poor quality control. And that is all on the execs who invited the orange pustule into the factory.

At ten years of age and 140,000 miles, mine continues to impress me as a very well-engineered, high-quality vehicle.

The same goes for my previous Ford, which I drove for 22 years and 230,000 miles.

I've owned Fords most if my adult life. My first Ford was a 1965 Mustang, and it made me fall in love with brand. My next car was 1973 Ford XL convertible, then an Escort, then a Focus, then my current disaster, a 2021 Ford Escape. With each successive purchase, it was a worse and worse experience in terms of reliability. The love is gone.

Willingness to call bullshit. During Watergate, at the end of the Thanksgiving Parade was a float following Santa with signs directed at Nixon: Resign Liar. If he's union, he'll be a back on the job, a legend.

The worker who called Trump a “pedophile protector” has been suspended.

He says he has “definitely no regrets whatsoever,” adding: “I don’t feel as though fate looks upon you often, and when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity. And today I think I did that.” wapo.st/4sG38CD

under the "Just Cause" provision written into every union Collective Bargaining Agreement.

They may settle with a short suspension, like two weeks with a sunset of the infraction in a year or two. Or he could fight it all the way to arbitration, which he most likely will win.

But since no arbitration is guaranteed one way or another, taking a two-week suspension and keeping your job, plus the thousands of dollars he will receive from the Go Fund Me contributions looks like a pretty good win from my standpoint.

Remember, the First Amendment does not protect you from your employer. They have no obligation for that. Ford will say his conduct, in the workplace, warrants discipline. But I don't think the employer can prevail in terminating him.
