Limo from 'Putin's car fleet' is blown up in huge blast as troops from paranoid tyrant's honour guard searched for bombs

Source: Newsbreak

ONE of Vladimir Putin’s limousines exploded and caught fire in Moscow as the tyrant orders sewers to be searched and the pat down of his own guards.

An Aurus limousine from Putin’s “official car fleet” blew up in a huge blast on a street just north of Moscow’s FSB secret service headquarters in Lubyanka.

Footage showed that the fire which started in the engine of the £275,000 Aurus Senat had spread to the interior of the vehicle.

Putin is now faced with immediate terror. This is good. He'll become more erratic.

He's already paranoid, and probably will only become more so after this. And as you say, he'll become more erratic -- and make more strategic blunders as a result. These actions will only further damage the image of his power and authority.

Remember the apartment bombings, right at the beginning of Putin's reign? He may have done that himself. I don't doubt that he is a terrorist.

The Russian people deserve democracy. There are many good people in Russia that are opposed to Putin and want to be free. We failed to help Russia become a lawful and proper democracy after the Soviet Union fell. That was a mistake. Anyway, I wish that Navalny were still alive to see this. I stand in solidarity with any Russians that want democracy and an end to the Putin regime.

They aren't all assassinated or stumble out a 20-story window, but it is remarkable how few of them pass gently.

I hope to still be walking this planet when it is time for Putin, Trump, and Musk to go.

In the list you linked, most of the dictators lived into their 70s and 80s - well beyond average life expectancy in their countries at their times.

Hitler and Mussolini were unusual because they started a world war and then lost. It's more strategic not to do that. Mao, Franco, Idi Amin, Castro, many others just settled into their own countries, ruled with cruelty and fear and lived in wealth until they died.

Putin might be leaning into starting a world war, though. Wars create instability. He should have taken the Franco route.

It packs a lithium-ion battery which can drive the car if the main engine's not available for some reason, and includes a battery heater for cold weather: https://www.aluminas.ru/en/media/news/the_senate_and_king_cold_northern_test_car_aurus/

"Oh, your car has a problem? We don't need a car-repair-shop. We'll get the boys together, have some Vodka, we're gonna fix it, it's gonna be fun."

I used to live in a neighborhood with russian neighbors and over the years I witnessed THREE CARS EXPLODE AND BURN OUT because these guys took the engine apart in a parking-space and then failed to properly put it back together.
Years later I eventually told this anecdote to a russian guy. To my surprise he confirmed that Russians love tinkering with cars and embarassedly admitted that some explode afterwards, because they aren't screwed tight back together.
