Russia 'will never agree' to European peacekeepers in Ukraine, Lukashenko says

Source: ABC News

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko -- a close ally of President Vladimir Putin -- warned that the Kremlin "will never" accept a European troop deployment to Ukraine, as Moscow and Kyiv continue to maneuver for advantage in U.S.-sponsored peace negotiations.

In a wide-ranging interview with blogger Mario Nawfal published late Tuesday, Lukashenko praised President Donald Trump's forthright approach to Russia's war on Ukraine and suggested Putin was ready to make peace.

Any proposal is unlikely to win Russian support if it includes the deployment of European forces into Ukraine, Lukashenko said.

"Russia will never agree to this," he said. "At least, this is Russia's position today. Especially since the leadership of the European Union, primarily in the person of Germany and France, is taking a very aggressive position at the moment."

the war would be over with unconditional surrender and the allies would march into Moscow and Minsk and you assholes would either be hung in a town square someplace or off yourselves in a bunker someplace.

Trump voted with Belarus vs Ukraine in the UN General Assembly vote. Lukashenko is on the American flag wavers' side.

11. Notice this gives the lie to Vance's "it's not European forces that would guarantee security, it's US miners"

Russia (and allies, like Belarus, and Trump/Vance/Musk) don't want forces that would prevent a future attack; but they're not saying "US ownership of Ukrainian mines and infrastructure is unacceptable" - because they know they could ignore it when they decide to attack again.

From now on, be grateful that any offer involves the continued existence of the Russian Federation. The current disgraces will not go un-answered. This pig has the dubious distinction of unmaking his own nation.

Putin will ever accept any 'peace' that doesn't involve the complete occupation of Ukraine and the execution of Zelensky? That's what Krasnov is asking Zelensky to sign on to.

Putin will simply ignore any agreement he's signed on to, and proceed to the already-planned end. Then it's on to...Poland or Romania, I'm guessing.

But you've got to give the toddler his due. He's managed to unite Europe. Behind Ukraine.

Like the N Koreans and Africans that he has put out to the slaughter on the Russian side. So sick of him and Trump both. Time for the world to knock them both about.
