Donald Trump has now banned UK from sharing any US military intelligence with Ukraine

Source: The Mirror

The US has banned Britain from sharing intelligence from Washington with Ukraine, according to reports. Donald Trump, 78, is said to have made the move as part of the US' alarming withdrawal of support for Volodymyr Zelensky. There are already concerns Ukraine could run out of weapons in as little as two to three months' time following Mr Trump's decision to freeze American military aid to Kyiv.

And now reports claim all UK intelligence agencies and military outlets have received an order expressly forbidding the sharing of US-generated intelligence, previously known as "Rel UKR" - short for Releasable to Ukraine.

It is another huge blow for Mr Zelensky, 47, as the UK and other Western security partners such as Australia and New Zealand have shared such knowledge with Ukraine since the conflict began three years ago. As Russia's onslaught continues, it is feared the ban will further hamper Ukraine's chances to defend itself.

The ban affects the likes of the UK's GCHQ, the spy agencies and intelligence branches of the Ministry of Defence. Phil Ingram, a UK military intelligence expert, told the Daily Mail: "The United States's instruction to stop allies sharing US-derived intelligence with Ukraine is what I would expect. The US's intelligence partners, including Britain, have had their authority to pass on intelligence revoked. The US will tightly control distribution of its intelligence to Ukraine through agencies based in Kyiv."

Ukraine will not be able to trust any US intelligence now because it will be misleading and aimed at helping Russia and harming Ukraine. If European leaders want to protect Ukraine, they should seriously consider bringing it into NATO now.

Ukraine had been using US based intelligence to track Russian troop movements.

This means Russian will start stepping up its attacks and sending in more troops.

Since Trump is a compromised channel and has a lackadaisical attitude to intelligence security, to say the least, we shouldn't be sharing Five Eyes data with the US now anyway.

Unfortunately, Starmer is likely to be lily-livered in his response.

If recent events are any guide, the situation's probably changing too fast to track, but this was Sky News' Security and Defence Editor on Twitter a few minutes ago:

Deborah Haynes
@haynesdeborah

BREAKING: The US has stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine that could be used to launch attacks inside Russia, a Ukrainian source has told Sky News.

But the source said that American intelligence-sharing has not halted completely.

The source described the move as “selective”, indicating that this meant US intelligence would still be shared with Ukraine that could be used to attack Russian forces on Russian-occupied Ukrainian territory.

Asked whether it is correct that the US has stopped sharing intelligence, the source said: “Unfortunately, yes, but not completely. It is selective. On the possibility of damage on the territory of the Russian Federation”

The move is another blow for Kyiv after Donald Trump decided to pause all military aid to Ukraine following a bust-up with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the White House.

They should do the tsfs thing - agree to his face while having no plans whatsoever to stop sharing information! England should know it's intel isn't safe in his hands and shoud likewise use any intelligence they gain for the best purposes, regardless of Hair Himmler.

If they stand with their EU/NATO neighbors, they ignore the turncoat Trump and share intel with Kyiv. If they stand with Trump, they have to abandon Europe and endanger encroachment by Putin in just a few years. If they use logic and value self-preservation, they stay with Europe.

I am sure that the Euro intelligence community can band together and work to
get the needed intelligence to the Ukrainian forces and they can put up spy satellites
too if they don’t have them up already. This threat is every bit as big as the free

Seems unreasonable, to say the very least that we can dictate how any other government uses intelligence, even if we supply it.

And isn't our intelligence already being ran by a Russian asset?

We, as a nation, will suffer economically, politically and militarily. Who's going to want to do business with us on any level.
He's putting us exactly where Putin wants us; completely dependent on him as our primary ally. The goal is to make the US a vassal state of Russia.
