I would argue don't take off the gloves, rather do the work to offer better solutions to the problems of your enemies than your enemy's favorite MAGA.

The work needing to be done is developing approaches that -attract- those currently unlikely to vote the same as you do.
Any thug can start a fight.

The other wing is always asking for money from the same people who benefit from Republican induced Trickle Down without cease stemming from Wars without End.
So yeah, AStern, I, too, think the winning strategy is clear: Use the power of Government to make life better for We the People -- ALL of us.

(5,079 posts)There is the 1/3 of Americans who don't vote, for a variety of well-studied reasons. We should appeal to them instead of leaning so far across the aisle that we fall on our noses.
