Texas Gulf coast is in for a frog-strangler.

For animated satellite view, see: https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/conus_band.php?sat=G16&band=13&length=24

I believe this is the first substantial tropical storm of this season and they're predicting rain totals of up to 6-inches from now through Wednesday night across much of the Texas Gulf coast.

Much needed rain for some but likely to cause severe flooding in many areas such as Corpus Christi. Predicted to dissipate as it rotates over into southern Louisiana.

Please notify all Democratic frogs from Brownsville to Beaumont to evacuate immediately..... .....

When I get a frog strangler, I can't see my back yard fence from the house. With a gully washer, I can.
